Tends machine that embosses and pierces paper strips to form
lace paper doilies, place mats, and similar decorative articles:
Loads roll of paper strip on machine, using chain hoist. Changes
dies and cutters on machine and adjusts tension and pressure on
feed rolls.
Starts machine and inspects sample run for level of
embossing, arragnement of piercing, and accuracy of cutoff, and
corrects faulty machining.
